Hello,

I have put search field in a password locked page to search items in a product catalog there. However, it does find items also on other password locked pages, even when they are hidden.

What to do?

Best regards,

Pauli

As far as I can remember, X5's built-in search engine doesn't automatically distinguish between password-protected and public pages.

Therefore, if you enter a search field on a protected page, the search may still return content from other protected (or public) pages because it doesn't filter results based on protection.

Hello Pauli,
with the search function, content in pages protected by a login will not be displayed, however products will be displayed as search results for the e-commerce section.
Is this what you are referring to?

Hi Eric,

We have a price list which is open to all customers and several lists with special prices on locked pages for those we have given passwords.

However, a customer might order products from that open list as well as from a list with special pricing.

Now, I wish the customer could easily get back to that locked page after adding products to the basket from either list.

Regards,

Pauli

You could add links to the protected pages in the header, e.g.:

.

Homepage ____ Page 2 ____ Page 3 ____ Page 4 ____ Contact

_________________ Login A ____ Login B ____ Login C

.

Customers could then always return to their protected pages and add additional products to their shopping cart.
