V2025.3.4 problem  en

I updated the program to the latest version (v2025.3.4). When I start working on my page and use the preview, the header and footer are NOT in the preview and it can't find most of the images. I tried to revert to the previous version, but unfortunately the same problem occurs there too! Please help!

I also noticed missing images in the new version.

I then insert the missing images again into the image objects.

The Incomedia employees are not expected to be online again until Monday and may request the project for review.

I converted the project to the new version. I hold down the CTRL key + click on the preview icon, but unfortunately this does not help either. The problem remains the same.

For me, the only thing that helped was to re-add the images to make them visible again.

Hello Szabolcs,
I am sorry about the issue.
Do you still have a backup remaining at the previous version, either in IWZIP format or the project folder directly, so that I can take a look at that version and what happens upon converting it?
I remain available.

I converted from v2025.2 to v.2025.3.4. The header and footer are not in the preview and most of the images are missing.

In WebSiteX5, while holding down the left Ctrl key, click on Preview at the top and wait until the progress bar at the bottom has run all the way through, then the pages will be rebuilt and the problem may be solved, otherwise try again.

As long as Incomedia doesn't fix the problem, you have to resort to these little tricks. It would be better if the developers found the error and fixed it.

I've already tried this. Unfortunately, the images aren't showing up!

As long as Incomedia doesn't fix the error, you have to combine several of the "tricks" mentioned and sometimes ignore the errors in the preview.

When an edited blog post was made, some images were no longer displayed in the preview, but the images were visible after exporting to the Internet. The images were probably just missing in the program, but the images were still there on the web space and were not overwritten.

I haven't yet been able to see an exact diagram as to why the images are missing and why they are only missing in the preview.

Hello Daniel,
unfortunately it has impossible in the past to replicate the issues with the disappearance of images, though we will keep attempting to reproduce and analyze this so that it can be addressed.

Hello Szabolcs,
you did not answer about whether you still have a previous backup of your project available, could you check if you have a recent IWZIP file for example?
I remain available.

I have older IWZIP backups from December 2024 and January 2025. I managed to update these to the latest version so that the images are included. Unfortunately, this means I have to re-implement 1 year's worth of changes on the websites...

Hello,
depending on the changes you made, if you keep two instances of the software open you will be able to copy and paste pages or objects to speed up the process.
I recommend periodically making IWZIP files during this process to have a more recent backup available.
I remain available.

Hello Szabolcs,

Here a nice free tool that I developped to save your iwzip on a secure place and not on your hard drive to avoid a disk crash and the possibility to loose all iwzip files

Happy new year

I'm also having to waste my time adding images that disappeared from the "row formats" background image. Extremely annoying.
