My site has 2 shopping links

  1. “Trade only” This is for registered users only, new customers have to register to access the shop as it has trade only prices on it. This is working as expected.
  2. “Buy Now” This is for retail customers, when you click the “Buy Now” button the products appear as expected, you can add them to the shopping cart, but as soon as you click on “proceed with the order” it comes up with the registration page which is not what I want the page is not protected in the site settings, how do I remove the registration page?

Maybe the experienced shop operators or the Incomedia employees will get in touch and can say whether this is possible with WebSiteX5.

As I see it, shop registration is only for the convenience of customers, see instructions

How to set up customer registration in your online store

With WebSite X5 you can optimize your online store so to allow Customers to register before they place the order. Thanks to the registration, Customers can:

  1. save their billing details for future orders;
  2. save the data referred to the last payment method they used, so not to have to enter them again for future orders;
  3. access a locked page where they can view the history of the orders they have placed.

. . .

The meaning of the shop's registration page was probably misunderstood.

The shop will probably have to be set up differently if the commercial customers are to be separated from the private customers.

So let's wait and see what shop experts write and what tips they have.
