Ray Light Template Header  en

Author: Brian S.

The Ray Light templates are not aligning correctly in the header. If I put a linked text at the top, the link appears above it, over the item when my mouse is not even on it. Also, objects are not on the header correctly in preview, moved horizontally out of position.

Actually I think it has to do with the menu over the top of the header image thowing off the positions in the top.png.

Sure. As you can see from the jpg, the cursor is above the Text control and the tooltip shows for the link. If my cursor is over the "Login", its still the standard default arrow, not the hand.

This whole preview top.jpg screen is actaully off compared to what it looks like in the designer. I beleive this is all due to the menu on top, the positions look to be off the same amount as the menu height.

Here is another screen shot of the Search moving up, same amount as the tooltip being up off the "Login" text.

Sorry... I cannot see the attach file. Please be sure they are less than 1MB in jpg or zip file format. Wink

If you upload your website you can also give me the URL so I can see it. You can also upload to a test subfolder.

If you don't want to share this here, simply set this post as PRIVATE from the button present on the right box here.

It could be better for me to view the URL... I suggest you to upload the new website on a subfolder of your server (ie: /test). So you can keep the original one and test online the new one. Let me know!

Steve,

Sorry I have been AWOL for a while. Here is the link

http://www.sharpdatainc.com/websitex/

Notice when you move your mouse over the text "My website" the cursor link area is above the text. You can just grab a "Ray Light" template and do the same thing.

PS, I wish you guys a had an email setting in the forum that would send you a message if your post has a new listing.

Hello Brian, I can see that.. I think it depends on the fact that the menu is placed above the header and not under the header. For this reason the link area is shifted respect his correct position. I think we need to fix it in the next update. I'll send this info. We're planning to release a first update this week, as a beta version. I'll let you know Wink

Hi Brian, I would like to let you know that we just released a BETA update for WebSite X5. All you have to do is go to http://beta.websitex5.com and enter your Licence Key. After that, when you will launch WebSite X5 you will be notified that a new BETA update is present, so you can download it.

I remind you to test this update in a second PC and, especially test it on a backup copy of your document. The projects saved with this version (9.0.1.1684) could not be opened with the actual version (9.0.0.1654).
