Slideshow won't function or show in preview

Please help!!! I have lost the ability to make a Slideshow with and without thumbnails. When I try setting it up the preview space is just blank. I have downloaded all the updates ect.... Any sugestions I'm getting frustrated...... I've got evolution 9

I THINK ITS MY ACTIVE X IN iE9 BUT HOW DO I FIX IT
Make sure your Internet Explorer is up-to-date and try resetting:
Go to Tools/internet Options/Advanced/Reset Button.......
You will probably have to reinstall the flash plugin after the reset!!

Thanks it was a issue with directX in IE9
