How can i lock the homepage access?

I need to lock the homepage, in order to block website access to anyone without username and password. How can i do that?

Hi Nick,
go in step 2, select the Homepage, propeties, in tab grafic, select "create the page without the template". You create a empy page where you can insert a login or a link to a register page.
