Suspicious folder

I was uploading my website (I have v8) and I noticed on the file list a folder with the name "shawano", I entered the folder and found it full of random html files - none of which I recognized but they all had very "suspicious" names. I decided to delete the files and the folder. My website seems unaffected. Has my site (or software) been hacked somehow ? or is there some other explanation. Donald McKenzie

that folder is not generated by WebsiteX5 and the reason of why it was there could be vary.
We are not aware of any hacks of the software that generates random folder/files.
I can tell you that you can safely remove it like you did but if you are not sure about how it was created I suggest you to perform a virus scan of your pc, thank you for asking
