Goodmorning John!

Let me start by the most obvious suggestions: did you enable the ''show the advertising message'' option, in the top left corner of the Advertising Message window - Advertising Message object - Step 4?

Is this the website you are talking about ''http://www.aperfectmatch.co.uk/''?
What browser did you use to visualize your website? What version?
If you see your advertising message correctly in the program preview and you can not see it only it could depend on your browser, not on the program.
Please give me more info and I will try to help you as soon as possible.
Thank you John!

I had to re-load the website back into v8 and upload again to get things working properly. as soon as I load a website into evo9 things go wrong. My web site needs certain features running every week to accept results from sporting event. I really cant start worrying about why something stops working with the new version. I will continue with v8 until something better comes along, unfortunately for me, its not evo9.  Can you please continue with refund as v9 really hasnt made life easier and contrary to that, has been a bit of a waste of time.

Thank you

I understand. I'm sorry you are disspointed, I would like to help you but unfortunately I can't without seeing your website uploaded with Evo 9. Could you upload it on a subdirectory on your server and maybe give me the link?
I will then give it to our website x5 creators and help you solve the issue. I'm sure it won't take long and if i may suggest, it is much better to have your website i HTML5 instead of XHTMl 1.0 (Evo 8). Many websites have been created with Evo 9 up until now and there are no issues with the advertising message therefore I'm sure I can help you solve the issue but I do not want to insist any futher. Please let me know how you wish to proceed.
Thank you John!

Ok, I have re-uploaded the web site to - www.bestofbusiness.co.uk

for whatever reason, the advert now works (but on 3 subsequent uploads it did not) a new problem has arisen however. Now the password access page will not display. If you select the "Restricted" button from the menu and enter the details - Username = billy  password = 180 it simply re-loads the home page and does not display the protected page. using the default "admin" details gives the same result.  This is turning into a real nightmare and Im not happy. Im continuing to spend time trying to sort this as Incomedia seem reluctant to refund as requested. If you dont have an answer to the latest problem (and ive done everything exactly as instructed when building this web site). please dont ask me to continue with this very frustrating upgrade. Please REFUND.  This will be the third request

Dear John,

I have accepted your refund therefore you will receive it shortly. I was not reluctant to refund you, I was just trying to help. I entered the details you wrote above and whent into the hompage as you said. In Step 4 - Access management - you have to double click on the ''admin'' or on the user you have chosen and add the ''entrance page'' option. Here you can choose what page you wish to visualize once your user has logged in.

I'm very sorry for wasting your time, as I said before I was just trying to help because your issue was anusual therefore I was sure there was a solution to it.

apologies if I sounded a bit harsh. I was very frustrated with the problems. On the last answer you gave, it didnt help. I entered 3 new user details and also ensured the restricted web page was the destination. in every case it shows a white screen with "loading" then goes straight back to the username, password page. I have not added a registration page as everyone uses the same access details. maybe you could look again at www.bestofbusiness.co.uk and the page - restricted  its doing this in both v8 and evo 9

Thank you

Dear John,

I have set your Evo 9 status as refunded therefore I'm sorry but you will not be able to use your Evo 9 anymore. Please don't apologyze I understand. I am willing to help you anyway therefore if you chance your mind on your Evo 9 and you wish to purchase it again I can follow you if you want me to.

Evo 8: In order to create  your researved area correctly you need to set your username + password in Step 4 - Advanced Settings - Reserved Area - Add.

Once this has been set, you have to go into step 2 - Plan Website then click on the ''Locked page'' icon, above the sitemap. Here you will be able to find the useranme you have created in the previous step, you have to click on the little square next to it in order to enable your user.
This will give him/ you the chance to enter the reserved area.
Thank you for your time and for your patience John!

I have followed those instructions to the letter and no matter what details I enter or how many times I change the password, the page simply comes up with invalid password. Also, although a registration page has been created and pointed to in the settings, nothing is displayed on the page except username/password. I believe this to be a php problem and have re-checked with iPage hosting that everything is php set up on the server. the actual link is www.aperfectmatch.co.uk/dhdl  with the option "Private Area" being the problem page. could this be a program bug requiring a re-install or can you suggest another reason for the failure.

ps. I am no longer using Webx9.

Thank you

Hello John!
It is very important to verify with your provider this issue. Please contact him and ask him why your email is not functioning correctly then let me know, this depends on him i'm afraid therefore there isn't much I can do for you.
Thank you!
