Using Gallery of photos is there any way to show the description without having to move the cursor away from the black slide bar?

What type of Gallery are you using?
If you use the Horizontal Gallery for Example,
You can add your description and disable the ''Show Control Bar'' option. This will give you the chance to dispaly your text and to scroll through your images by selecting the thumbnails below.
