Why is V9 so expansive for old users?
The addad tools and items in the software does not seem to add that much extra.
I can not find any information about very specific items (if they where upgraded and what)
for example can you use plain text in the email form? in version 8 only fields were aloud.
Is there a free fully functional V9 license for testing. with a month testing for example or even less... ?
What i have seen is not worth 50.- euro ! Especially with a lot of questions and a strange forum...
And a lot of problems in V9 as i can read here.

To answer my own post, i found a demo version of V9 its a little bit hidden cause you won't get there using the menus. But if you use http://www.websitex5.com/en/
you will get there a 10 day full evaluation version. (you will not be able to upload your site and 10 pages max)

In the e-mail form object for example, you can choose the field type you wish to add, there are 12 different options: text field, text area, attachment file, agreement conditions etc.
Evolution is now entirely built in HTML5 + CSS 2.1/3 code generation.

THX for your reply.
I own V8 so the free version won't be what i need, i want to test if v9 is worth the money for the work i do personally.
So i downloaded the demo v9 version but its not a full version as described.
I can't import my own project !!
one suggestion i had for V8 is available in V9.
others are not, i will make a post with ideas for V9, but for now there are even a few functions that i use in V8 that are gone in v9 or changed in a matter that it's not useful to me.
In short it's not worth it for me -yet-
The plain text to put in the mail form is not there, this is, i believe, very simple to program and very useful for making your form more personal and clear.

You can hide the fields in your email form!
Please look in the email form object - add the text field for example - add the text and confirm - go into the ''style'' tab (top right) - and select ''fields'' in the ''form item'' list - change the border color into transparent and you will not have the ''filed'' around your text.

THX again, but i mean just plain text to insert between in front (or both) inside the email form. so not only a text or date fil in item but some explaining text in between or in front of them. I translatede a piece of my own designed form. put this html code in an empty sheet with code for html and widgets and test. You cannot do this with x5 and keep it in 1 form.

Your welcome Andre. No unfortunately what you are asking to do is not possible with Evo 9. You may enter text in the ''label'' and the field after but it will not be like you showed me.
You can do something similar (please see attached file).

Maybe as an idea for next update? I don't think it's difficult to make, text as an item in the mail form. It give's your form much more flexibility.
