Hi! Smile

You do not have the images in your program file, maybe you have deleted them by mystake. Please check in the CellStyle folder (you will find it in the res folder - program files - websitex5 Evolution 9) and let me know!

Thank you!

Hello, I think the problem could be related to the fact the you installed the demo version, uninstall it and install the full version. Can you confirm?

By doing this the software is looking to the wrong path (the demo folder) so he cannot load the images fom the cell library.

You can solve in this way:

  • uninstall the software
  • delete the file config.xml from this folder %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Incomedia\WebSite X5 v9 - Evolution  (note that you can enter this path directly on Windows Explorer to access to this folder immediately)
  • install it again, so the setup can recreate the config.xml file again

The config file is not deleted automatically from the uninstall because it contains user info that were saved after the setup process.

Please confirm me you installed the demo version so I can be sure about that and proceed to update the demo version to avoid this problem.

Thanks.

PS: I changed the post title so that other users can find it more easily!

Thanks Robinson, strange... I was sure this could be the cause. The best way to check this was to view the old config.xml file.

@Haralampos Leontopoulos: can you attach here that file BEFORE you delete it?

We just need to read that file and see which folder WSX5 is looking for the images ...

I've got a new idea... did you install the v9 twice and you chose a different installation folder for the second time?

Hi Robinson... that's strange because the path I can find in the config.xml you sent me is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\WebSite X5 v9 - Evolution Demo

So it seems it comes from a demo installation... let me know Wink

Thanks, very strange... it could not depend on the full version otherwise all other users we'll have the same problem... anyway we'll check it again. It could be good to have some info from Haralampos Leontopoulos. Undecided

And sorry for the post reply delay (but i've some work this days).

Maybe i've install first the X9 demo version (i think so...).

I don't remember if i uninstall this (maybe) and after that go for purchased version installation.

On both machines Win 7 & XP i keep the X8 latest version (on different folder) just to know.

If you want i can do complete uninstallation of X9 on Win 7 if you don't help you the config.xml file.

Let me know.

Best regards

The previous attachment "config.xml" is from Program Files (x86)/WebSite X5 v9 - Evolution/ Conf folder.

The config.xml that i post now is from: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Incomedia\WebSite X5 v9 - Evolution folder.
