Colour Picker Doesn't Work

In v8 I could use the colour picker to set text colour, even from other windows outside the application - this does not work for me at all in v9 even within the application. Is this a bug or a feature that cannot be supported in html5? (if it's a bug I will look forward to a fix :-)

when you click on the colour picker keep the mouse button clicked and drag it to wherever you want to.

Stupid Answers site!!!!!!!
I wrote a long email to Si thanking him but wondering why the functionality had changed and if the instructions were in the "manual" as being different from V8, then I stupidly clicked "Correct" and this half baked forum dropped my reply.
Not happy - old V8 forum had faults, but it wasn't arrogant in it's actions.

Hi Gordon, I confirm you that the color picker works differently respect v8. The v9 way is better for me, even because if I want to pick a color I don't have to click. Many times I have to get a color from a button so I have to click that button even if it was not necessary!
Answer is very simple, you add a question and get an answer. If you think that the answer is correct, simply click on Correct. This information is very useful because it permits to close the post (you can always open it again) but mainly to let all other readers to know which is the correct answer!

No I have discovered this quirk in Answers I know to always make my reply, post it, then click on Correct
