Where do we enter the licence code and email address  en

I purchased the program - with the ability to install on 2 machines - the licence codes given were WGU79-XXXX-XXXX-382T4 (where the X's have been added for security) - i then upgraded to the suite and was given a new licence code UR2T3-XXXX-XXXX-KC8T2 (where the X's have been added for security). In error when i installed the program on a second computer using the licence code WGU79 etc etc - i used a different email address to install with.
Now, when i come to use the program it is not coming up with the unlock box to enter a serial code, but instead is asking me to register. My friend installed the program and just before completion it asked him to add licence code - and email address and then it accepted it and carried on.
I have uninstalled the program, and deleted various registry keys and then re-installed it - but again to no avail. At the end it simply says "i cannot update" because i need to register - if i use the email address of the 2nd computers owner it tells me that this account does not have a user code - if i go to the my own account and click licence it does not let me continue.

Can you therefore confirm (1) Do i install with the same email address and licence code on the 2nd machine as i did on the first. (2)Does the second user have the original licence code or does he have the new suite licence code. (3)Where do i enter the licence code and which email address - as there appears to be no where to enter it.

Thanks for your assistance.

I will try and give a concise answer to this often requested and hard to understand answer. The answer really lies with the user and their machine, and not so much the actual program.

(1)First off - if your program has been updated you must "always" install on the 2nd machine using the most recent unlock code (so in your case use the upgraded installation code) - you may also find but i cannot be sure that the "additional products or at least templates" will work on the second users machine..

(2)The 2nd user - "must" use your email address for installations - if for instance they uninstall on your machine, then when they re-install they use your email address and your second unlock code.

(3)This then is the complicated issue- and in part would like to thank another poster for partly giving me the answer. Whether you have a trial version, or you have installed and do not have the unlock code/activation "request page" - because in this case it would appear the user installed using your first code and then when you upgraded with the 2nd code it wiped out the first rendering the program unable to register - YOU MUST FULLY UNINSTALL.

(4)To fully uninstall is not simply case of going into Programs and Features and uninstalling or Add/Remove Programs to uninstall - but you need to do a deep uninstall - you can either uninstall using the traditional method above - then remove the Program Folder from C:\Program Files (x86) then remove from recycle bin then restart your machine and (continue)....or

(5)Use something like YourUninstallerPro or IOBIT Uninstaller and do a full uninstall and it will ask you to select removing all the "leftovers" including registry keys and folders then you can (continue)...

(6)continue...when you continue you will get to the page where it asks to activate (as long as you let it pass through your Firewall) you enter the licence code and then email address -(remembering as per (1) & (2) above - when we tried if you do enter the original licence code it does say that it had been updated - so we entered the "purchasers" email address the "upgraded" licence code and then the "purchasers" password - of course you may need them by you to entere it unless they trust you well enough!!!

(7)Hey Presto - you are in, and to check it - you can click update it will either let you do it, or it will tell you that you are up to date....if it says you are not registered you have gone wrong and i would suggest you go to (3) again.
