Hello, My problem is that photos which I have downloaded from my files go missing from time to time and I have to keep loading them again. Also the X5 has become unstable and when preview is clicked on it takes a long time to come up and when in it, to navigate from one page to another also takes too long. I’m getting tired of the time I have to spend in the program to keep it right. I am going to install the software on another computer to see if it changes anything. Do you have any suggestions? I am working with the newest update 9.1.8 1960. and OS Win 7. 64bit

Yes usally into the text, from my own personal photo files,
There is no error message! This morning I had to replace one photo (jpeg) that was missing and that took some doing and when preview was clicked on it took a long time to come up (23secs.) to be exact. Then I had to upload it 3 times before it appeared on the site.

Did the photos are alwazs stored in the same location? If you use an external Hard Disk to store them, is it connected before you start the program, and the Drvier letter is always the same?

Hello Claudio D, I understand what you are saying as I have already come to that conclusion sometime ago. I now store them on another internal H/D.
I think that the original images are to big for text object. Make these smaller. To big images are a problem for this object. Images in text object are not optimal, better the Image object.

Surely something something is wrong? Preview used to come up immediately.

the preview takes so long because it has to generate the content with the new image. Please try to resize them with an external image editor before you add them in the project and then it will take less.

Claudio. d This delay in preview has only started since I reinstalled the software and down loaded the update on the reformated drive. Previously It was always immediate with these same photos. it really makes working on the site tedious.

Try to download from your answers.websitex5.com profile the latest installer and install it.
Check also if there is a program im background that could slow down the system.

I don't know what you mean by the "latest installer" I have the latest upgrade 9.1.8.1960. No as far as I know there is no other program that would slow it down.
I have stopped working at the site as It takes too long to up date it, especially if I want to make major changes. unless something is done to fix this downturn in the software, I will have to change to another web site program, which I am now currently looking for.

What i mean is to uninstall the program and download the installer from your profile becasue it contains the latest updates.
Please makes this test and then try to open the project again.
