Hi I have been reading the other post.
Right so I need to create a folder with 777 permissions and it needs to have the same name as the line in the html for the guestbook. Right?
I am not allowed to create a folder in the web hosts root directory.
Should I include the path" /public_html/Guestbook_vsf " where guestbook_vsf is my new sub directory?
If I do that should I get a submit button on the Guestbook page on my site?

Right I created a subdirectory public_html\guestbook_vsf and substitued that address for the one in the guestbook HTML.
Next time I uploaded my site a Public subdirectory appeared in guestbook_vsf.
But both these sub directorys are locked and I cannot change the permissions.
So I thought OK I created a sub directory\public_html\guestbook_SVF\public I changed the permissions to 777 and uploaded my site again. Guess what? The subdirectory Public is empty and the whole branch \public_html\guestbook_SVF\public is locked.
Please Pccsa what have I done wrong?

Right I have managed to get the sub directory public to be 777 permitted OK.
I then had trouble with the captcha several times but it worked just now.
But now I am getting there was a problem inserting the comment.
Oy Vay! what else can I do?
