how to upload a google verification file to my website
I have this from Google -
1. Download this HTML verification file. [google7a66ade3010be3f8.html]
2. Upload the file to http://www.chatterismusicsociety/org/uk/
3. Confirm successful upload by visiting http://www.chatterismusicsociety/org/uk/google7a66ade3010be3f8.html in your browser.
4. Click Verify below.
To stay verified, don't remove the HTML file, even after verification succeeds.

Hello Alf,
To verify a website with google you can choose to upload the file with an external FTP client like Filezilla or you can choose the second option in google webmaster by choosing the alternative method and there you select "HTML Tag" and you copy the code provided by google and you add it in WebSite X5 in Step 1 and you open the "Advanced" Tab where you paste this code in "Verification Metatag for Google Webmaster Central" and then you export the Project again.

Hello, I took the second method and posted the verification file in the Verification Metatag line, but now the google verification file is on my web site at the top of the home page. Is this correct???
