Video Size and Control Bar

When setting the size of a video, does it include or exclude the control bar. I only ask as i have a video and when I set the dimensions to 50% height and width I get a black border left and right. Regards Graham

The height includes also the control bar which you can choose to not show to use the complete defined height.

So what is the size of the control bar, so I can add that to the actual size of the video to get the full complete size?

The height of the control bar is 30 px and the width depends on the whole width of the player.
