Menu disapears behind video

I have a video on a page, and when I click on my menu, because it's quite long it disapears behind the Video. This used to happen on V8, now it's still the same on V9. Is there anyway this can be fixed. Regards Graham

Hello Graham,
This depends on the movie format you have choosen. The wmv format is using the installed player in Windows which will be always on top of all other objects, like it happend to the menu. If you use another video format like KolAsim suggested, as example flv or mp4, they will use the flashplayer which will not be on top of the other page elements. I suggest you to use these formats because, since they were made for online streaming, they will load faster and will be seen on most computers without the need of custom codecs, like in case of wmv they will need to install the wmv codec to see it. IF you convert them to these formats don't forget to activate the function to optimize them for streaming so that these will start to be visible immediatly since they will behave like youtube where you can see them while they are still loading.
