Firstly, I am very impressed with the product. I am building a shop site and it is not officially published yet, you can see it here:www.2013.maritskrystaller.noI am building it bit by bit and experimenting with webiste x5 to get to know and learn it. I have earlier today added som payments options (including paypal) and some shipping options for testing. The site at that stage was uploaded for test viewing. SInce then I have now added dozens of more products and photos and made changes to dozens of products. Before I went to upload all these product changes for testing I deleted some of the payment (including paypal) options and some of the shipping options I had been playing with and testing. Before deleting these options everything ok in Preview locally. After deleting these options the cart page no longer shows any content in Preview. If I add a prdouct to cart and go straight to the cart page there is no content on cart page, only header, footer and left menu. When I exited the program it asked to save, I said yes. Then when I went to restore backup (first time for me) I found out there was only one backup saved (the most recent) and not a long list of them. The last back up taken was of the "corrupt" version so when I restore the backup I still have the same problem, ie the cart page is empty in Preview. Question is how can I restore the data so that when I add product to cart (and go automatically to cart) then the cart page shows content in Preview? BTW in Advanced Section, Shopping cart, all the content of all the tabs looks ok. I can see all my products and I can see all my payments and shipping options etc, but they do not show in the cart window.

When I did that and look at the "bad" site there is NO problem with cart. So how do I get back the cart in local Preview mode. I need it to be able to work efficiently. If preview cart does not work then it makes me doubt the quality and integrity of website x5

After I made the post I did the following: I made a new dummy test site and set up a cart in it. Everything seems to be working ok EXCEPT the cart in Preview, ie, same problem as above despite having made a new site from scratch. After doing that and concluding it might be in the software, I reinstalled the software but the problem is still there. Rebooting and restrating program has not helped either. The cart Preview seems completely screwed on this machine. For the sake of good order my version is 9.1.8.1960. I am on Windows 7 x64, fully up to date.

Hello Ian,

Try to check if there are any plugin installed in Internet Explorer and try to open the settings of Internet Explorer and reset them to default. You can laso try to update IE to see if this helps to see the cart in the preview again.

I now had a chance to test your suggestion. I didn't have any special plugins other than PDF and Java as I keep them to a minimum. However I deactivated everything that I knew what was, but that did not help. Then did complete reset of IE9 and that did the trick! Thank you. What do think it was causing the problem? Now I am looking forward to Chrome in Evolution v10 instead of IE.

It could be any setting that has been changed by plugins or programs installed. Unfortunately I cannot tell you exactly which one was that made it not work.
