Html protection not working  en

The html protection code box is ticked but has no effect on the website after upload, everything you can right click and copy. I  have recently changed to Version 9, the html protection worked well with version 8, Is this a known bug that does not work with version 9 ??

Does the browser you use have javascript enabled? The security works with this software wich is enabled on almost all pc's. Disabling java makes that this function does not work.

Remember that everything you get on your pc  (and what you place on internet) is always available somehow.

HI BR A  Thanks for your help, but yes Java is enabled on all of the browsers and computers that I have tested. Its strange but everything was fine on version 8. I know this isn't the answer at all  to preventing copying but it keeps away the sniffers !! Do you know of similar problems in the forums, I can't seem to find any mention of this, I can't be the first surely !

I finally seemed to have solved it by unticking the html protection bax, saving the project and uploading, then ticking the box again and saving and re uploading. It seems to work now, it may be a bug with importing a project from Version 8 with the html ticked ???

Hello Jeremz,

Probably after you uploaded it and then you visited the website it was still loading the cached version in the browser. To view always the latest version you need to press CTRL + F5 so that the browser opens the updated version.

Many thanks!
