Incomedia, because you didn't fulfill our needs with the version 10, why don't you make a special version for us (the developers) ex. Website X5 Developer. I don't care about the price but it's very important for me to have a CMS where my clients will have the opportunity to change and add new text and pictures and they will be able to write the blog post themselves... Please consider my idea, it's crucial for me and the people like me... otherwise you will lose customers!

I agree With Aleksander, you should have X5 developer version, so in that version you can get rid of your famous meta tag "metaname="generator"content="Incomedia WebSite X5 Evolution 9.0.12.1873 - www.websitex5.com"
normal user dont care about that, but developers do!

I think that v10 funkcion must be part of v9 updates, becouse, for life of v 9 we dont have new widgets, no custom maked widgets ( as be promised !??), new slider, mouse over immages effect, ...etc. Normal update actuel version ->all this feature and much more ...
To be clear, I love X5 and I buy all version, you have to reward loyalty - why upgrade existing licenses at v10 deleted v9 from the computer? If for 20 €, they are no problem, but it could be probably different, isnt it?!?

it's very easy to remove the generator tag.. just use the "find and replace" tool in dreamweaver so you won't do it manually for every page.
Could you please explain how to do it? Also I have to have dreamweaver??
@ Jorge: you can even edit your html pages with the Windows Notepad.
In Part 5, export the site to your HD (choice 2) then open each HTML page or PHP page with the Notepad and remove the meta tag. Save. Than upload your site to your web space.
I did it with dreamweaver on this website ecuaflowproductions .com its really simple, now I gotta do it on the rest of my websites lol...
