What PHP version is used best with Evolution 9?
I'm trying to find out because some widgets don't seem to work in some cases, or are giving an error.
In this case it's regarding a Blog and/or guestbook which is not working.
It seems that not all the required files and folders are uploaded when the website is being exported.

No, it's been uploaded to the server. In this case it's a PHP 4.x.
That's why I want to know for sure if this could be a problem.

You can use PHP 4.x with Evolution 9:
Minimum requirements:
• Windows™ XP (SP3), Vista, 7
• RAM 512 MB (1 GB recommended)
• Screen resolution at 1024x768
Online publication requirements:
• Windows™, Linux or Unix Server
• PHP 4.x, 5.x (only for certain advanced features)
You will need an Internet connection and e-mail account for product activation.
The search, however, already requires php 5
The statement php 4 is therefore not correct!

please try to install the update, and test. There actually was a slight problem with the stripos function that was not supported by PHP4. Now if it's PHP4, the engine uses a custom stripos function.
