Help with V10 install

I just purchase X5 V10 do I need to uninstall V9 first ? how do I go about this? Also I been wanting forever to do a restore on my computer but have not because of X5 V9 with image location problems. So after I Install V10 and do my first upload and backup on all my sites I should be able to do a restore on my computer organize everything( images )without losing any images through out my site hoping this is correct?

You can download v10 and install it, the two work side by side withouth any problems or interference.
All images are inside the projects if you save your project (backup) with page 5 export project then everything also the images are in your project file.
You can always make an extra copy of your files to be sure.

what I am asking is that I am wanting to restore my windows and organize all files including the ones attached to X5. So after the first upload on V10 to the server will I be able to organize all pictures and graphocs attached to my site with out getting errors that the file location is missing.

I have over 70 pages with grahics on them and the reason I purchased this V10 was because of this feature itself. So I am just double checking before restoring windows and moving all my graphics around on my pc because normally you cant touch a picture or rename a picture without going into X5 and changing the file location.

In Version 10 the images are stored in the internal library so that also if they are moved they will continue to be present in the project. This improvement was introduced to avoid the image missing error.
