V10

I have an Embedded acrobat PDF with widget on my webside, but the PDF does not show on handhelds.

This is an android v3 and some others.

Is there any way to get this working?

I removed it because the site is used a lot with handhelds....And made a prtscrn and put is as a picture in the site.......

But to test i took a clean  project, and placed it on the net.

http://www.andreweb.nl/ I used a pdf from Incomedia.

Hello Andre,

It depends if the mobile browser has a pdf plugin installed to see the content directly in the browser. Most mobile browser has not this by default and it can be installed.

Many thanks!

Thanks Claudio,

It would be helpfull if it is shown on any way possible that there is information but not readable / shown on the Android handheld. It looks now if there is no info at all.

Hello Andre,

You are right about this there are not a lot of informations. It seems that only after Version 4 of Android it is partially supported. Some suggested that with third party plugins it can be done but it is better to test it and add a link to the file for mobile devices so that they can open it with the installed pdf reader.

Please feel free to write back if you need more information.
