Hi,

I don't know if it's a problem or not, but since I did add an webcounter to mine webpage, the upload from the modified website, goes verry slow? Just before I did add this, it was going always fast. The webcounter I did use, is the one who is build-in on evolution 10.

url webpage counter =>http://s1.shinystat.com/

Maybe it's not a problem, or it's a setting in the software that need to be changed? The provider I use =>http://www.one.com/nl/

Thanx & Best regards,

Frederik

Hello Frederik,

The counter added is just some code in the page and it has no influence on the export.

Please try to check again on the project if it is really making the export slower with a new update and let me know.

Many thanks!

Hello,

Yes it's slower (really a lot slower!) ...I remember that evolution 10 after add a new webcounter fromhttp://s1.shinystat.com/to the builded website, did ask me for that action activate css for all webpages.

The slow updates did starting after the webcounter adding + after press "Yes"  button suggestion evolution 10!

Everything else beside that website, works fast..even accessing the website onwww.mattelaere.begoes fast.

The version of software I use = 10.0.2.24

The settings I use for update => Just exporten last modified files

The provider to upload  (for manny years) => one.com

Best regards,

Frederik

Hello Frederik,

I tested the upload speed of the same project with and without counter and it was exactly the same. Can you please tell me whci counter you added? The free one?

Which css code you had to activate for all pages?

The Counter has no css code to add only html.

Many thanks!

Hi,

Yes I did add the free one. You can see it on mine website directly => www.mattelaere.be

I did do also some tests, and when I make new project - add some text - pictures etc... the upload goes fast.

When I did just took mine website, did change a character of a button and did try again, it was again slow! So, I'm sure it's something todo with mine website source files . Maybe a "setting" or whatever.  I took screenshot from mine upload. This took me around 10minutes. When I do complete upload it takes me around 30minutes.

Then I did another test... I'm using Bitdefender as security desktop protection and I did figure out, if I did put down mine software firewall...it back did go faster Cool. Then I did reactivate and did search a little bit and did found if I activate for mine project "share internet" in the settings of the software firewall it's OK. Tomorrow I will add a page with some more pictures and let him do a complete overwrite from the website.. then I will be sure it's something connected with the firewall!

What's strange is, I didn't need to change that settings in the Firewall for other projects I did make with evolution 10. It's only that project who gives troubles. The trouble did start after adding the FREE WEBCOUNTER & after I did press Yes on the suggestion from evolution 10 todo an general setting on all pages.

To upload the project, would be difficult todo here on this site, want the created iwzip file is what above the 2GB and I don't want to give public mine username and pass who is stored in the iwzip file.

Best regards,

Frederik

Hi,

I did today small modification + I did upload the website completely. The speed is back even so fast as in the begin. Cool

Solution:

I did a changement on the bitdefender software firewall settings, like I did describe yesterday evening in the post here above!

The reason why I need todo a changement in the software firewall, I don't know! This is only neccesary just for that web project.

All the other website projects I did make, doesn't have that problem, and have fast upload.

It's strange...I can't find the reason what's interfering the "Bitdefender firewall".

A solution i've found, the reason why...?

Best Regards,

Frederik

Hello Frederik,

It can be that the firewall was taking time to analize the file based on the settings and this was slowing the upload. Since it had links to the online cocde for the counter it took time to connect and analize this code. Please check in the settings if you can put the program in the whitlist so it won't check it when you upload the project.

Hope this helps.
