Hi all. I have uploaded a site and if you use the contact form, it will go to most email addresses, but not Hotmail or gmail I get a confirmation email that it was received, but nothing comes to Hotmail, not even in junk folder. I am using evo 10 with all updates. Any help please?

Hello Nic,
It can probably depend on the fact that the server you are using is in a blacklist on hotmail/gmail and they block all email sent from this server. You can ask the hosting provider to give you the smtp reports of the email sent to see the exact error that comes out when you send an email to these accounts so it is possible to see what solution is the best to solve it.

They have checked the server and it comes back ok. They say there is nothing in the waiting to be sent and all email has gone through.
I asked the person who's had the site from me to try another email address and that went through no problems.
The funny thing is, she just created an alias in her hotmail account which accepts the email, but not the main account. Strange one.

Probably it can be that one email in the main account was flagged as spam and then the others where not accepted anymore on this account emails from the domain.
