UPLOAD PROBLEM Everything was fine yesterday, but this morning someone had removed the memory stick from the PC. When I returned it, it became a separate drive letter it was (F) and it became (H) I had not noticed and did some work on one of my sites, when I tried to save it I found out. I changed the drive back over but now none of my websites will upload. I get the message (Unable to connect to server Generic Error) ANYONE ANY ADVICE HOW TO UPLOAD AGAIN?

Hi Richard,

You could try changing the memory stick drive letter back manually as follows (these steps assume you have Windows 7)

How to change the drive letter for your USB Flash Drive

On your Desktop:

  1. Right-click My Computer.
    • From the menu that appears, select Manage.
  2. The Computer Management dialog box appears
    • Under the Storage section, click Disk Management.
    • Right-click Removable disk in the bottom left panel.
    • From the menu that appears, select Change Drive Letter and Paths.
  3. The Change Drive Letter and Paths for : dialog box appears.
    • Click Change.
  4. The Change Drive Letter and Paths dialog box appears.
    • Choose a drive letter that is not used by any of the network drives.
    • Click OK.
  5. A message appears confirming the drive letter change.
    • Click Yes.
  6. The Computer Management dialog box reappears.
    • Close Computer Management.
  7. A dialog box appears asking what you want Windows to do.
    • Click Cancel.
  8. You have successfully changed the drive letter for your Flash Drive.
