Problem with Email form submission.  en

My problem is unique one. I have created a simple email form on my website. if a registrant submits data it sould come to my email and a confirmation email also be sent to the registrant.Lets say my email ie: *** (my domain is sarthaktv.com)  so I receive the submit form on that email.

Now the problem is... If I am using a email ie: *** or *** or whatever as registrant mail to fill up the form and submit, I am getting the confirmation mail on the email provided in the form, but I do not receive any mail on *** which should contain the data.

but if I use another email of my domain ie: *** in the form data and submit, the form is works perfectly fine. I can receive the form data on *** and a confirmation mail on ***.

I do not understand whats wrong. I have been in touch with my hosting server. they said there is scripting error on the php file. I am a novice on php. so dont want to mess around with websitex5 generated php files.

this is the form link:

http://sarthaktv.com/rajoqueen2013/registration.html

Can someone help me understand the problem.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Tapas Basu,

If understood if you use one email bundled with your domain on this one you don't receive the email send with the form but if you use another email, always bundles with the domain then you receive the email. I am correct?

Does it happens only if in the form they uploaded also a foto or with all emails?

If it works with one but not with the other, the script is working correctly and there is a block on this email on your email bundled with the hosting.

You can try to open the preferences when you start the program and change the email script type to "low quality server script" and export the project again to check if with this script the email works correctly.

Please keep me updated.

No. its just the reverse. I receive the form data if its bunduled with my domain. but not from other domains.

let me explain this:

situation -  1

1.Registrant fills the form and use his email "***" in the form data and submit.

2. He receives the confirmation mail.

3. I dont receive the submitted data.

situation - 2

1. Registrant fills the form and use his email "***" in the form data and submit.

2. He receives the confirmation mail.

3. I receive the submitted data.

Please not this is happening with all emails errespective of photo attached or not. I am testing with the low level script as you have suggested and let you know the result.

Hello Tapas,

Try with the other scripts type and let me know if it works. Like you described, it seems not to be a php problem but more that the email service provided is blocking these emails. Probably they are seen as spam because if it would be a programming issue no email would arrive.

Please keep me updated.

Hi Claudio,

You are right. The issue is exactly the one you have mentioned. My email server (yahoo small business server) is blocking mails as spam. I have spoken to them several times and fedup to sort this out. They wont do any changes on their servers stating that will create hole on their security settings.

I am stuck with them just because my corporate mail is with them. Am planning to migrate the hostings to a different server.

Thank you for your help nd suggestions.

regards,
Tapas Basu
