Install problem with update 10.0.6.31  en

With several attempts, I tried to install the update 10.0.6.31 (from the start screen of version X, but during the installing process I always get error 406. My OS = Windows 7 Ultimate - 64 bit (service pack 1 installed). Any suggestions how to solve it ? Or is there an alternative way to install the upate (without losing previous settings of the earlier version) ?

the product x5 with version 8 does not solve the problem. Downloaded more than 5 × 5 10 times, each time an error! Torrent link in the 21st century is ignored by the developer.

Hope for a better service in the 10 version, moved to reverse the conviction.
After installing the product activation key is not valid!

Hi Wim,

You could try this:

Instead of trying to update from within X5, download the latest version (10.0.6.31) from the 'Download' link, located via the drop-down menu at the top-right of this screen entitled 'Profile'

Once you have downloaded it, reboot your machine to ensure no X5 processes are running, then run the .exe file

This will install the latest version over your old one, updating all files as necessary.

Thanks for the advice. The full download (333 MB) and re-install worked. It took more time than an update of course, but let's see it from the positive side: version up-to-date again.
