2nd photograph down "Vale Of Health Pond In Early March"

Set to enlarge on click with maximum at 1000x1000

The enlarged photo is corrupted. (Happenening on other pages, too. Tried with several browsers. Corrupted on Chrome Preview window, as well)

This is happening after I have deleted the original photo cell and recreated it

Solution, please!

Hello Nigel,

I tried to issue on different browsers and it was visible but it was never fitting perfectly on the window and it took really long to load it since the size and weight of the image is too much. If you decide to have it on max 100opx shwobox, try to reduce the image to max this size and the weight is over 3mb which takes too long to load it. You need to adapt the image to the size you want to use and make it lighter to allow the browser to load it faster so that it's rendered correctly.

Many thanks!

Hi Nigel, your photo is 3840 x 2610 px. If you adapt it with 2048 x 1536 px (or 1024 x 768)  you will have a good presentation on large screen. See my screenshot in attachment.

Hope this will helps you, J.P.

Hi Claudio...

What you say DOES make sense and I have reduced the picture and the process now works.

However, I understood that ".png" files were automatically created which took into account this balance between size and rendering.

I am not experiencing the problem on a massive scale but I just occasionally find a picture that behaves in this way.

Should there not, perhaps, be some bullet point made in the editing windows or, perhaps, a warning of "exceeding acceptable ratios"?

(Do you think the programmers could add a tool to resize all windows at once or am I being ridiculous?)

Thank you,

Nigel

Hi Jiper...

Thanks for your input.

Yes...you're quite right.

I note that the pre-setting is "800x600".
