Hi,

I ran a PageSpeed test with Google, which told me that my site was at 54% of what it should be :(

I've managed to get it up to 70%, but I'm now stuck with a few things I don't understand how to do.

Rather than post the lot, I would like to try and address them post by post for clarity reasons, and for other users in the future.

What can I do about this:

Leverage browser caching

Setting an expiry date or a maximum age in the HTTP headers for static resources instructs the browser to load previously downloaded resources from local disk rather than over the network.

Hello Steve,

Usually the browser, if a page has already been visited, it will use the cached version in the browser but if you want to add an expiration date you can follow the examples on:

http://htmldoctor.info/reference/html/meta.html

You will need to add it in Step 1  inthe Expert Tab in Before closing the Head Tag.
