Image not working

I have made changes my website on a laptop - and saved the project on a removable hard drive. It works fine in preview. I have plugged the hard drive into my desktop and 'Imported' the project. Everything, apart from the images works fine. The images do not work and all show as 'Image Generation Error'. Can you help please?

Hello Malcolm,
Check that the path to the missing images (as defined in the Image Object properties - 'Local File on PC') is still valid. It may be that your removable hard drive was assigned a different drive letter on your laptop from the one that has now been assigned to it by the desktop (e.g. Drive G: as opposed to Drive F:)
If the path is correct then try holding down the 'CTRL' key whilst entering preview mode, which will force X5 to reload the images.

Paul - Success with re-loading images...!!! I strongly suspect it was all my fault. In V9 I had changed the 'Preferences' folder to one that was different from the default one. When I upgraded to V10 I did not think to re-set Preferences - which I have just done. Everything is now 100%. Very many thanks for you help. Brilliant service.
