Hello, I just upgrade my X5 V9 to V10 evolution and I was under the impression it would resolved my IOS (Ipad and Ipad) audio (mp3) and video's issues ? I could now see the play button in my audio section but when I click on from my Ipad or iphone will not play any music... ? my audio files are in .mp3 if I need to convert is there a universal format which could be read/play from PC/Mac/IOS/android ?

Hello Blouin,
I see from your home page that you are using some flash script to shoe your video and the Apple devices aren't able to play Flash contents.
If you use the Video Object of WebSite X5 it renders the videos on Html5 so you can watch them in Apple devices also.
Hope this helps

Hi Michele,
Thanks for the reply but with the V10 all videos are working fine, My problems are with the MUSIC... I see the play button buy nothing is playing...
I do use MP3...
Regards
Hello Blouin,
The issue depends on the fact that iOs devices are not supporting mp3 on websites but they accept only mp4 or m4a files for audio.
Many thanks!

Hi Claudio,
Thank you for your reply.
I would like to know what do I need to do so all format could play the music IOs / Windows / Andoid if I convert to mp4 or m4a windows will probably not work right ?
Thank you
Hello Blouin,
MP4 / M4A format will work fine. It's what I use on my own sites with no issues. Works correctly across a wide range of end user devices.
Kind regards,
Paul

Hi Paul,
Is there a way to get back the nice little player getting display like when I was using the .MP3 ?
Now I get a Quicktime logo which seem to have to load the full song (Mixtape) like 160Megs before we could click and play, and before I used to get a little play button and be able to click on it right away ?
I only change the MP3 to M4A on my home page for testing purpose !
Thank you
Pierre
Hello Pierre,
I've just visited your homepage to have a look, but I can't see any M4A audio... only MP3... did you revert to the MP3 for now? It would be helpful to take a look at your page with the M4A file uploaded and the right-click protection temporarily removed.
Best regards,
Paul
