Can I make two menu items link to same page?  en

I have an application form, I want to link this from two separate sub menus:

"Pre-programme/Application form" and "Contact/application form"

When I uplad the pages, I get two spearate pages on my website - "application-form.html" and application-form-1.html"

They are both the same but X5 seems to have created a duplicate page and renamed one of them. This doesn't matter muc as long as both are the same. If I alter application-from.html and then re-upload the page, will application-form-1.html be updated as well?

Yes, to create one or more menu item that links to an already existing page you have to:

  • add a new Level in the menu position
  • enter the level property
  • add a link to the existing website page

So, when the user clicks on the menu item, the link will be executed.

You can use this function to add a menu item that links to an external website.

Hope this helps.

Yup - that doesn the job - thanks. I have got the booking form as a "not-hidden" page in a "hidden" menu and linked that through from the main menu. Works well with the drop down.

Many thanks.
