Lastpass pushing header image down  en

I have a site that includes a solid image at the top. I have noticed that lastpass pushes this image down and it makes the site look weird. I have checked on other websites and it does not happen there. What should I do to not let this happen? I want the lastpass bar to go over my image and not push it down.

Have a look at the attached image.

Hello Johan,

It depends directly on lastpass and since we don't know how lastpass plugin for the browser acts and how it takes control over the visited websites we cannot tell you how it can be stopped.

This happens only if the plugin is installed on the browser. Unfortunately we cannot give support to third party software or plugins.

Please feel free to write back if you need more information.

I realize you can't give support on lastpass. I have however noticed that on other websites it does not do that. I also saw that it does nothing to the background image only the header image. I guess the way to get past that is to make the header part of the background. The problem I see is that it also pushes the other elements down like the search element.

Having looked at the code I see that it creates an iframe complete with a header, body and so on.

So my question is still, is there any way to get this iframe to go over my image and not mess up the site? I am sure this answer will be useful to others that have the same experience and strive to make their sites as perfect as possible.

Hello Johan,

The only option would be to have access to the code inside the iframe and change the code to make it appear above all without pushing down the content.

This issue has already been notified to lastpass in 2008 like you can see on:

https://forums.lastpass.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=77759

you could add also, as alternative, a custom code which makes the lastpass bar not more visible, if the plugin is allowing it.

This happens because of how the website is made and since the Header and content, to allow you to edit it and add elements, these are not fixed to the background, when a plugin is pushing down the whole content, it appears not aligned.

Many thanks!
