X 10 always asks for activation key

I updated from X5 Evolution 9 to 10 with a download file. The new version now always wants me to activate the program and to type in the product key before I can start the application. It's highly annoying - so I would really like to have a fix for this because we have a lot of work coming up. Thanks, Volar

Hello Volar,
In the first instance check that you installed Evolution 10 with administrative privileges. In other words, did you right-click on the setup file and select 'Run as administrator' when installing... did you install from an Administrator account?
Failure to do so is a common cause of repeat activation requests like you are experiencing.
