With the button cell style you can set the inner and outer space to zero.

And also the alignment, set it to top, the other one to bottom. Make sure there are no enters or spaces at the end of your last sentence in your text box. Then they should be against each other.

Offcource, no problem.

If you have used options in the tabs -like the STYLE tab and a background image you can set margins there also. This is also the case for tab Text -> title / description text. So be sure to check them all.

Thanks for the help, but am still getting a gap at the bottom of the texts no matter putting all values to zero for the bottom margins, I can't work this one out, and I don't want a gap between text boxes ( about 5 cm), the text does not flow. !!

Are there any other Objects present in the same row as the Text Objects which are giving you trouble?  If there are, and the other Objects have a greater height than your Text Object, then the Text Object will appear as if it is adding blank lines (but in reality it is simply matching the height of the highest Object in the row...  this is how the WebSite X5 box model works)

This page of the website is really the best example, scroll down to the paragraph headed "what is the cost of living in Andorra ? and also right at the bottom. There are no other objects on this page that would interfere.Every settiing relating to margins at the bottom are zero, it's quite annoying this gap at the bottom. Really appreciate any suggestions ?

Are the other option on top of page also on zero (the pulldown box settings / options?? Are all the choices on tab text also to zero ? It looks like it is inside these settings, i can't see strange things in your code or tekst, i have no time now anymore, i hope to have some time tommorow to check further.

check espacially second tab and third pulldown option on that page (for cellstyle button) are there empty spaces in the text box? (remove them).

The Cellstyle drop down box is set at 5,5,5,0 ( 0 for bottom margin)

The text style box settings are the same, 5,5,5,0.

The text object box where I enter the text has the bottom line of text along the bottom border of the window ( there are no spaces at the end of the text) but the preview box turns up the annoying gap as does the webpage on the browser.

Jeremy, I hade another look today but can't seem to see strange things. Only your own javascript, did you try without them? Maybe they interfere....

Further am I out of options except maybe one, you send me the project. this is only if you want to. if, please remove private content.

No I haven't activated it. I have put all the text now into one text box, its not solving this problem but I can't see any other way..strange!

I am talking about the javascript for your clock and date in your banner.

I think if see correctly you use a seperate javascript for it. X5 has a buil in clock and date, Why not use that one or am I mistaken ?

The clock of x5 you can find by adding in the banner a html code, then click in the html screen left below the pull down menu for widgets.
