Updating WX5 v.10

Updating WX5 Evolution 10 software My WX5 Evolution 10 version 10.0.2.24 needs updating to 10.1.0.39 but updating always results in "error 406". I understand this is related to Windows (XP) file corruption, but despite taking all the file cleaning measures I can think of, the error persists. I have not yet re-installed Windows and would prefer not to if there is a known solution to this problem. Version 10.0.2.24 is only a recent purchase; perhaps there is an updated version to 10.1.0.39 which can be downloaded, though that would not solve future updates.

Error 406 can be caused by connection difficulties to the internet brought about by the use of proxy servers, antivirus software, firewalls, etc.
The simplest and easiest solution in most cases is to download the latest release from here:
http://answers.websitex5.com/profile/downloads
Once downloaded, right-click on the setup file and select 'Run as administrator' (make sure WebSite X5 is closed before doing so) - this will install the updated version over the older one... there is no need to uninstall first.

Thanks Paul. Downloaded OK but had to completely uninstall earlier version to allow installation to proceed. However, all good now.
