Menu item with fixed background when visiting that page.

I would like to have a menu where the background color of each menu item will appear to show on which page the visitor is at that moment.
With other words. When visiting the home page, at that moment the background color is grey showing the visitor at that moment where he is on the website.

I'm afraid it does not work.
When you look at www.marveles.nl you will see, when you are on the Home page that the back ground is grey. When I go to Disciplines the background will turn grey and it will be removed from Home. With this option I show the visitors where they are.
I'm unable to set this up under "4 Advanced Settings".
Any idea?

Hello Monica,
You will need to use the settings in step 4 Main Menu where you can change the behaviour of it to appear as current page with the grey background and you choose for the mousover the textcolot grey.
In this way it will have the same behaviour like on the website.
