Hello, Can someone tell me if there is an option to embed images in Evolution 8. I occasionally move/delete images that are linked, and that is causing a problem.

Dear Charlene,
once you added images to your project, you should not move them anymore from where they are saved. The best thing to do is to create a folder in C: and put all the images you are using in your project, there.
