Editing HTML.Header  en

I need to redirect users from one X5 website to another, on a different server, as soon as they get to it. Another member had the same requirement. In his case, the excellent Frank's Cybercafe advised: 'just insert in your (INDEX.HTML) header of the old site: Where it says my Cyber Cafe put your "NEW" website then everyone should be redirected to your new site..... ' My question is, where and how do I access that (INDEX.HTML) header, and edit it? I'm using V10 Pro, and I'm thick.

Hello Roger,

you can modify the code html of file index.html, you can modify the file on your server or select the "export on disk" for edit the file, then you cna use an external program to upload the files of the site on the server.

You can also insert your personal code in the step 1 in tab "exper" in the "before closing the HEAD tag".

You can also use a redirect on the server with an .htacces file, try to search more information about this on internet.

Hope this help.
