Where to find INDEX.HTML header, and how to edit it  en

I want to redirect users from my site on one server, to the site on another server. There are plenty of references here about editing the INDEX.HTML header to do this. Problem is, I can't find any guidance on where and how to find that header, and how to edit it.

I'm moderately able, but this one's got me beat. I appreciate, I may be being dumb about this, but I'd really appreciate some help on how to do it.

Many thanks...

Not sure exactly what you mean, but you can edit the header in Step 1 "Edit Graphic Template"

In there, you can click anywhere on the header (or footer) and choose one of the commands from the toolbar above, like "insert html"   Then you can add an html link or whatever.

I am not sure where the actual header is stored, but you can change the look of the header by designing your own and then uploading it in Step 1 - template selection.  Hope that helps a bit.

Thank you, Lorien. I've found the file called index.html. It's visible on the server, but I'm still looking for ways to open and edit it.

The problem relates to redirecting usres automatically to another server, rather than altering the appearance of the visible page header - but thanks anyway!

Hello Roger,

You can edit the file also with notepad on your computer. Every text editor, except rich text editors like word, can edit html files.

Many thanks!
