I require my header image to display at full screen width. I want it to resize itself and adapt automatically to the current size of the window like the page background. How do I this in x5?

Hello W. Healy,

The header in the template has a fixed size in pixel and it cannot be set to resize.

What you can do is to add on the background image the header image too so it will be adapted automatically to the window size if you activated for the background the option to "fit to window".

Many thanks!

Thanks for that but it doesn't solve my problem. Is it possible to make the header and page background dimensions the same width?

Hello W. Healy,

The Header cannot have the same dimension of the background because this changes according to the window size of the browser.

The Header like content and footer have fixed sizes in pixel.

Many thanks!

Ok, my next questions are since websitex5.com was made using your software. How did you make the footer fit across the full screen. Is it part of the page background?

go to template selection on step1> select your template> select edit, from "page section" choose footer background, then add bg for your footer over there.

make sure the height of your footer background is set for same height of your footer.

make the background for your footer transparent, in that case your website will only showes background footer instead of footer, and it will be full screen.

if yo have any other question, please open a new post.

if this post is the currect answer, please mark this answer as currect answer.

Thank you for quick refresher. It was right in front of me!!

It would be great if the header and page content had this feature. Then we could go full screen and it would also be a good idea to have the page content split into sections. I'd like to be able to break the page content with different colour backgrounds.
