Facebook Likes

I am rebuilding my website from scratch. I had numerous facebook "likes" when I relaunch the website with the facebook widget included, will I recapture those likes or will my website have to start over again. The domain address will not have changed. Are the "likes" a function of Facebook or of Websitex5?

your likes are stored in your facebook account and not inside your webx5.
webx5 only shows them from your facebook account (acts like iframe)
when you put back your widget, you will see all of your LIKES again.
