No buyer profile registration for shopping cart/order history and can't add required selections/drop downs to products.

Unless I am missing something, X5 10 Pro is missing 2 fundamental elements that are essential to building a functional ecommerce website. Here is my dilemma. I need to add required selections to each type of coffee I am selling. The buyer needs to select the roast type -dark, medium or light, the grind type-espresso, fine, drip or french press and type-regular or decaf. The suggested workaround, in my opinion, is cloogy and it confuses the potential buyer. The next missing element is the ability to setup buyer profile registration. Seriously, no ability to register a profile so the buyer can retain their order history and to make the checkout process easier? Who wants to fill in their credentials everytime they want to buy something on your site?? I wish I had known this sooner before I upgraded to Pro.

Hello Rob,

For the buyer profile registration at the moment this option is not present and I would suggest you to open an "Idea" post to suggest it for the future releases of the program.

For the different options of the product you can add the options and then add the suboptions so you will have 2 dropdown menus to choose the roast type and the grind type.

Many thanks!

Thank you Claudio. I suppose this will have to do. I put far too much time into this project using X5 so there's no turning back now.. I can only hope that Incomedia will redesign the shopping cart module in the next release.
