Import problem v10 pro  en

Author: Vedat G.

I am having import issues with V10 pro version. At the bottom of the page http://www.gurtan.com there an image file and social media links on images.

I have just exported the whole project and imported it on another pc. But that image file and social site links with images at the footer of the project do not show up.

Best regards,

Vedat

Hello Vedat,

Verify the image file name you used for the image in the template editor for the footer since it could be this file has not been imported.

Try to check if there is a space or non latin characters and rename it and then export it again and then test it again.

Many thanks!

you need to find your footer image and place it back to the address that shows the error.

check your recycle bin, if there is no were to find, go to your webhost folder (or if you have it published inside your hard drive) find the image and copy it in the address below

C:\Users\Vedat Gurtan\appData\Local\Incomedia\WebSite x5 v10 - Professional\Templates\g75wsyhuuzu09x0304hlim4770a2ssjy\images\

make sure your filename is gurtan-logo-shadow-448.png

if still you coudn't find it, then you need to create that image again and place it inside your template.

Hi Antony,

Thanks. I have the images on the site and on my other pc. Fixing it is not a problem, but for backup purposes v10 pro most likely does not export the footer area images / links.

I have an update on this ticket. The dates 1979-2014 at the footer is a text not an image file. In other words, text is not exported either.

as far as I remember, text on the footer will be converted to image after publish. only html files and pictures with link will stay the same!

I did not check that with 10 pro to see is it still doing the same or no! check your style folder inside your published website and look for bottom.png

Hi Anthony,

You are right. Here is the bottom.png file from the site. Everything is in that image file.

Hello Vedat,

You could fix the bottom image in your project?

It could depend on a file name which was nor recongnised correctly during the import.

Many thanks!

Hello Vedat,

Try to reimport the project file to see if then the images in the footer are imported correctly. As alternative go to step 1 and "edit graphic template" and then add the social media icons again and check if then these are shown in the footer.

Many thanks!

Hi Claudio,

Ok, I have redone the footer area, images, including the links. I have exported it again and imported it on the other pc. This time it was transfered correctly. I am attaching the image.

Best regards,

Vedat
