Shopping cart order summary to site admin? Why?
If I'm a web developer and I set up a PayPal shopping cart for my client (a commercial retail site), and I'm the site admin, why do order summaries get sent to me? That makes no sense at all. I have no relationship with or interest in the customer making the purchase. It should go to an email address defined specifically as the seller, i.e., my client.
I don't want to set the site admin address to my client. I really hope there's a workaround for this.
Posted on the
go to step4> shopping cart>send order tab> "Email Address for receiving Orders"
any email address you place over there is the email address will receive orders!

My first attempt at responding seems to have disappeared. So here's another:
I set the "Email Address for receiving Orders" to my client's email address but no order summary arrived. The Evolution 10 help says:
"When a customer places an order, two e-mails must be sent from the shopping cart: the first is the order summary and goes to the Site Administrator, and the second is the order confirmation and it goes to the customer."
Sending the order summary to the Site Administrator is illogical. The Site Administrator address is not necessarily the address of the store selling through the shopping cart. They may be completely unrelated. I can't even find a field to specify the "Site Administrator."
What's the purpose of having an "Email Address for receiving Orders" if the code ignores it? Seems like a bug to me. I hope there's a workaround. Otherwise I'm going to have to forward every single order summary to my client.
Delete theprojectfrom the serverandcreate anew allupload.I hopethis willsolve your problem.
all orders goes to one email address (the one I told you, thats is the site admin) maybe during your test, you had that email to something else (your email). delete everything inside your root folder and re-upload your entire website to see if that solves your problem.
