I have just updated website x5 evolution and not get the error when trying to upload Connection Error it is not possible to complete the operation FTP_Get current directory

Probably your destination folder is not exactly correct. Remove the text /public_html.
Then connect again and manually choose the correct folder. Check the folder name and add that one later to see if you gain direct acces with that folder name.

Steven, normally all ftp account will be pointed to the root (which is public_html. check your ftp account and see where is being pointed by default, if its already pointed to the root, leave the destination folder field empty inside your x5 program.
