Adding site map to Google Webmaster Tools

I cannot successfully upload the website site map to Google Webmaster. I get an error message: General HTTP error: 404 not found HTTP Error: 404. Any ideas?

Can you please send me a screenshot of the error message to se waht exactly happens?
What do you enter as in google webmaster to add the sitemap?
Can you please write me the link to your website?
