Default two-by-two page grid is much too small  en

The recommended number of page design grid columns in the "Tips & Tricks" is 16 (the maximum) and that should be the default for new pages. The default number of rows should also be at least 16.

This comment is based on some of the questions and answers I've seen posted on Amazon.com. I think new users look at the default two-by-two page design grid and assume incorrectly that it's not adjustable. They don't realize that it's easy to have a much finer granularity of grid cells and the help doesn't suggest adding more rows and columns.

I will have to dissagree with you Barry, It all depends on the design approach, I think the four cells is a good start, it is easy to add more columns and rows as the user wish, normally I do not use a lot of cells for most pages as I like to keep my pages uncluttered, 16 is way too much and I would have to remove a lot of cells each time I start a new page.

I suggest a more flexible approach would be to have a setting in preferences for how many columns and rows the user would like to start with for each new page.
